Too Faced: Beach Bunny. Hit or Miss?!

As I am aware, I'm still new to the blogging community and want to try a little of everything until I find my perfect style. So I thought a review would be perfect, as I love reading them myself. 80% of the time I will read reviews on products before I purchase them......

This was a completely different story! This bronzed compact from "Too Faced" was an impulse buy! totally drawn in by the wonderful packaging, which had little golden bunnies on the side. I'm a sucker for anything with animals and cute things. I hadn't heard anything about this product before, so it was a complete hit or miss for me but I knew I just had to have it!

The unique name "Beach Bunny" Gives me the image of "Malibu Barbie" living life up on the beach sipping cocktails. This idea might make some people cringe and hang their head in shame. However, for me it draws me into the product even more! If you love a tan and golden cheeks, I would defiantly consider investing in this product!!

I also love the fact there is no barriers to separate the shades, which means you can create the perfect sun-kissed tan for your skin tone! I'm naturally very pale and have used this product with no fake tan on and it still matched my complexion.

The fact I wore this product all night at work (With no primer) and it managed to stay on is a bloody miracle! For those of you that don't know I work at a nightclub .... a VERY sweaty nightclub. A little gross... but I am in love with this product for staying on and I would defiantly recommend it on a night out, casual day trip or even the beach like the name suggests!

The only drawback I found with this product was it was a little pricey. I got it out of boots but was still£25. For a not as well known brand I find this a little expensive but I would re-perchase so it is worth the money!!

Now I just need to try more "Too Faced" products, including the "Snow Bunny".. I'm intrigued!!

OOTD - Cinema & Dinner

Shirt & Skirt H&M, Gilet TOPSHOP, Belt EBAY, Bag JIMMY CHOO

So, I ventured home to the countryside to visit Mum and Dad Infact it was a special occasion - My Dad's birthday! It's hard for me to get time off studying and work to get home, so I really appriciate time spent with them.... nd my glorious bubble baths.

For my outfit, I'm not entirely sure the look I was trying to acheive. However, I felt comfortable in my own little "granny-ish" style. My shirt from H&M is a recent purchase which I am in love with. I have been wearing it with skater skirts, jeans, disco pants.. you name it! It's also semi-smart so I can get away with wearing it to work which is always a bonus. Being back home also has the perks of reuniting me with my  wardobe at home (Which is a lot bigger!) I found my Faux fur Topshop gilet, which I totoally forgot about which is perfect for this time of year and adding a sense of glamour to an outfit.  Finally, you can see my beuaitful bag as well. My first Jimmy Choo. Hopefully I will own more in the furture, will need to start saving my pennies.

The film we went to see, "Sunshine on Leith" is a new musical, where the storyline is based on numerous Proclaimers songs. My Dad being a "die-hard" Scottish fan loves anything to do with Scotland. So a film based in Edinburgh with constant Promclaimers songs... Perfect! For me however, half Scottish half English, I don't quite share the same enthusiam! Glad he enjoyed it though. We then went out for an Indian, another thing I'm not the bigges fan of. I ordered Chicken and Chips, could see the smirk on the waiters face, as it was the only thing on the menu which wasn't Indian! Think it was there for the children.

I'm now away to watch "Bride of Chucky" for some halloween prep. That's who I am dressing up as by the way. So i'm excited to share my pictures with you!

What are you guys planning for Halloween??

Winter approaching.. Faux fur at the ready!

Jacket TOPSHOP, Shirt MISS SELFRDIGE, Skirt H&M, Boots NEW LOOK

Before I start writing I have a confession to make. These snaps were actually from last year! However, the jacket will be included in my 2013 AW wardrobe again because quite frankly I still love it! Living in Scotland, I have found faux fur (Would never wear real!!) an essential for my winter wardrobe! 'Cause lets face it however much we might wish to leave the house in our comfortable Pjs, It's just not acceptable! Saying that, my hometown Tillicoultry, you often see people roaming the high street in their housecoat// dressing gown- only in Britain!

These shots were actually taken at Marwell Zoo last year. So, I thought the semi-animal print jacket was right on trend allowing me to camouflage amongst the animals!  If you watch "The only way is Essex" think back to Amy Childs on her first date with Kirk at the zoo?  her zebra welly, Leopard Print coat! Thank god I didn't go that far!

However, got a bit side-tracked there. Here are some faux fur high street buys I'm currently loving!

WAREHOUSE £14

TOPSHOP £89

Blogger virgin alert!!

For years now I have read fashion and beauty blogs,  drooling at all the beautiful clothes and cosmetics.  I'm even at the point where I religiously follow Fleur (fleurdeforce). This is no surprise seeing as I study Fashion Management at RGU. One of my new modules includes starting a fashion blog! This is exactly the kick up the bum I needed to start one myself - as i've been saying I want to for ages!

For my first post I wasn't entirely sure if I should introduce myself a little or go straight into posts highlighting gorgeous clothes that are way over my student budget!! But here I am, think it's best i do introduce myself briefly....

As I previously said, I'm studying Fashion Management at RGU. Which I am loving! It's such an upbeat and fun course! There are times I find myself falling asleep in lectures (Anyone who says they don't, is not a real student!!) However, it is great fun and I would defiantly recommend the course to anybody who could picture themselves working in fashion! Aberdeen is quite a nice city as well, its quite small so you always bump into someone wherever you are- if its a night out or a trip to Tesco in your onsie!

Anybody that knows me will say I'm a workaholic//money hungry. I do overwork myself sometimes by agreeing to do crazy-hour shifts. I just can't say no! I work 3 part time jobs on top of uni; a sales assistant at NEXT, bar staff at a local nightclub and I'm in training to be an interior designer at Sterling Furniture. The last one is the most exciting, I'm loving every minute of it,  I will probably mention lots of fabrics throughout my blog as I can't keep my hands off them! Designers Guild being my favourite as I am a high fan of bright colours, they also just teamed up with Ralph Lauren, so I'm excited to talk to you lot about that!

Well I don't want to make my first post an essay which drags... hope anybody that reads my blogs has some enjoyment out of it! Feel free to ask me any questions!! x
